This Is Our Story

We, Janine and Bernd are the founders of VANTASTIC New Zealand. We have lived and worked outside of Germany since 2005 and for many years now, we have dedicated our lives to traveling and exploring the world, experiencing more than seventy countries in total.

 

We had visited New Zealand on multiple occasions and following a three-month “campervanning” excursion around the country in 2012, we decided that we would one day settle down in Aotearoa. Following the dream, we immigrated to the country in 2015. We started working in the tourism industry, which is growing consistently. It has become our passion and interest since settling here.

As time allows, we continue to explore the backcountry of New Zealand and we feel absolutely privileged to live in the most beautiful country in the world.
